What I think:

Rick Amooi’s books are so much fun.

From the very first page the witty characters and fizzy dialogue drag you straight into the story.

The narrative is split between Faith and Noah.

Faith needs help organising a local event and her friends agree ont he condition that she throws a coin into the Fountain of Love and makes a wish. She hasn’t dated anyone one since losing the love of her life, but after five years it’s time to dip her toe into the dating pool again.

Noah is crazy about Faith. He just about manages to hide his feeling for her but for how much longer.

Faith makes her wish with instantly hilarious results. Gorgeous men literally appear out of nowhere – rescuing her, smiling, flirting and asking her out. Suddenly she is irresistible and has her pick of handsome and eligible suitors.

Who will she pick?

This is such a fun, feel-good romance.

Charming and occasionally, it is genuinely funny and the perfect antidote to 2020.
