Went to the wire on this month’s reads. I read all of my cosy mysteries on my kindle, but I had a few digital blog tours this month so it was hard to squeeze everything in. Despite that I managed to get all four of the main books read.
So here’s the April badge:
The April reads:
Death on the Danube by Jennifer S. Alderson
Lana Hansen helps a friend and steps in to lead a tour group to Budapest. When her fellow tour guide, Carl, is found dead the tour guests are the prime suspects. An enjoyable quick read – already downloaded the second in the series.
Dead Velvet Cupcakes by Polly Holmes
Margarete Becker caters an anniversary party, when her rival chef is found dead and its looks like her knife is the murder weapon. Margarete and the McCorrson sister set out to clear her name. Enjoyable mystery with a touch of romance.
Murder on the Road by Adriana Licio
Gio Brando discovers a shocking accident, but when the investigation turns to murder she gets involved to clear her name and listen out for small town gossip to help the police. Great village atmosphere and lots of interesting characters.
Raining Men and Corpses by Anne R. Tan
College student Raina Sun finds herself suspect when he ex-lover and college supervisor is found dead. Some fun characters.
Hopefully I wont be in such a rush in May and might even find time to read the bonus read.
Happy reading x
