April 2020 Wrap Up

Another month of lockdown, working remotely, homeschooling and playing with a 4 year old and trying to read. The month started with a lot of sunshine so there was lots of sitting and reading in the garden. Have struggled to read much this week, but started a cracking book last night which I hope to finish tomorrow.

Having said that this month I managed sixteen reads. 11 ebooks including another four cosy mysteries and five blog tours and 5 other books.

My cosy mystery wrap up for April is here

Lots of good books read this month. My only five star read was The Flat Share. I’ve found myself reading more light-hearted, romantic comedies this month. Happy endings are the perfect antidote to being stuck inside and I really enjoyed Leon and Tiffy’s story.

My least favourite reads were Raining Men and Corpses and Queenie. In book books I found the characters difficult to relate to an unappealing.

May is starting with a rainy weekend – perfect for snuggling up and reading something great and working through that lockdown TBR pile.

Stay home and stay safe,

Happy reading x
