I discovered the 2020 Cozy Mystery Challenge group on Facebook and signed up straight away.
I love cosy mysteries – they are normally fun, quick reads. They are equally perfect reading for rainy, snuggly winter days and lazy sunny afternoons.
The Cozy Challenge has picked 4 or 5 mysteries for each month and you can read as many as you fancy. If you read 3 or more a month you get bragging rights and a cute monthly badge.
I’ve read 4 out 5 of the January reads so here I am proudly displaying my badge 😀

The January reads:
Mooved to Murder by CeeCee James
A fun quick read. Great mystery with an intriguing cliffhanger to set up the next in the series. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Murder in Cherry Hills by Paige Sleuth
Really enjoyed this – the main characters are really interesting. A great mystery but it was a super quick read – wish it was longer! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

A Death at Eastwick by L. C. Warman
My least favourite of the month. The story was interesting and I enjoyed the family intrigue but the writing style wasnt to my taste. ⭐⭐⭐

Another Saturday Night and I Ain’t Got No Body by Jennie Marts
This was my favourite of the month! Such a fun group of characters, some laugh out loud funny moments and a mystery that keeps you guessing until the end. Romance and mystery in equal measure. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Did not read – the bonus choice:
Ain’t Nothing but a Pound Dog by Jeanie Wycherley
Might get to this one later in the year.
Looking forward to February’s reads!
Happy reading x
