As December is here we can legitimately read the Christmas themed books – although we have been read them all to be honest!

The Twelve Dogs of Christmas is perfect festive fun.

One little puppy is excited for his first Christmas.

Along he meets dalmatians, pugs, beagles and more who are also getting ready to celebrate. The dogs are decorating, delivering Christams cards, baking cakes and playing in the snow.

This is a lovely rhyming, counting book.

The illustrations are really bold and there is lots to talk about in every page.

The book ends with Santa delivering a present for the puppy and we talked about what our dog would like for Christmas.
