Thomas and the Dinosaurs

The Little Monster chose this book at a recent trip to a local independent bookshop. He loves Thomas the Tank Engine and dinosaurs.

As usual, cheeky Thomas has been playing tricks on the other engines and making them jump. He gets sent on a night time delivery and spots a monster at the docks. A frightful horned monster is attacking the ships and Thomas is terrified.

Thomas may be a beloved character, but I actually find him quite annoying. He’s really quite mean and never seems to properly learn a lesson. I don’t really like the little Thomas Collection books as I find the stories are bit clunky.

This has a better story – perhaps because of the larger size of the book. And the illustrations in this are really nice.
