Blog Tour – The Serial Killer’s Party

The Serial Killer’s Party

By Amy Cunningham

What it’s about?

Welcome to the party of the year.
You’ve been invited to an exclusive, luxury event in Norway, hosted by a billionaire. Your moment has finally arrived. But you’re not going for the canapes and champagne. You’re going for revenge.

Where anything is possible.
You’ve spent months preparing for this moment. Because you know that beneath the host’s polished public persona, he’s a vicious killer who has murdered several innocent people, including your sister.
Even murder…

Then a guest dies in mysterious circumstances, and you begin to wonder… is this a trap? Why does it feel like you’re being watched? And will you ever escape?

What I think:

This book begins with a prologue – Amelia’s sister, Rose, has disappeared. The police are not pursuing the case believing that she has simply chosen not to inform Amelia where she has gone. Amelia is not convinced and is determined to find her. The only clue she has is an invitation to an exclusive party in Norway hosted by Lawrence Fowley

A year later, Amelia has an invitation to the party. She is the guest of her new boyfriend Ford Fowley, Lawrence’s cousin. Having spent a year plotting and manipulating, she is ready to investigate Rose’s disappearance and get the answers she is looking for.

Amelia essentially has a weekend to find what has happened to her sister. She has to do this without arousing the suspicions of her boyfriend who does not know her true identity and the host and his family who are suspicious of newcomers and potential golddiggers. There’s a schedule of planned events and not much time to investigate.

This novel is over the top and escapist. It’s dark and twisty. It’s fast-paced and very readable. It kept me  guessing right to the end. This is an enjoyable summer thriller and a quick read.
